Wooden or tile floors for the kitchen??

kassikoloFebruary 20, 2013

I LOVE wood and see tile only as a necessity, just worry that wood is not practical in the kitchen...or is it not a big deal?
-We live in the country (so lots of dirt/mud)
-we have 2 small children (who spill things) and a dog (who scratches things)

will the wooden floors (engineered wood) stand a chance? i dont want to obsess with guests scratching the floor either...
