Refinishing Old Floors

AcadiafunJanuary 23, 2014

This is much more fun for me than DH as he is doing all the work. The sanding of the white oak floors has begun! One of the reasons I love this house so much is the charming wood floors. DH wants to stain it with a reddish tint like the cabinets. I can't wait until they are done.

There is the living room and three bedrooms. The living room is in the best shape. This is the worst room- the smallest bedroom. Mostly because the wood is not quite level. Surprisingly we have not run into any stains in the wood. The planks are about 3 inches wide in all the rooms.
