Funny of the day

bengardeningFebruary 10, 2013

A well-worn one dollar bill and a similarily distressed twenty dollar bill arrived at the Federal Reserve Bank to be retired. As they moved down the conveyor belt to be burned, they struck up a conversation.
The twenty dollar bill reminisced about its travels all over the country. "I've had a pretty good life'" the twenty exclaimed. "Why I've been to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, the finest restaurants in New York, performance on Broadway, and even a cruise on the Carribean."
"wow!" said the one dollar bill, "you've really had an exciting life!"
"So tell me," says the twenty, "Where have you been throughout your lifetime?"
The one dollar bill replies "Oh, I've been to the Methodist Church, the Baptist Church, the Presbyterian Church and the Lutheran Church."
The twenty dollar bill interruped to query, "What's a church?"

That'd be a fiver ... or a tenner ... for the Anglicans/(Episcopalians, to many of you), the Catholics (of the Roman variety), etc. do ya figger?

(You do have $2.00 bills don't you?).

Up here ... the $1.00 ... and the $2.00 ... items ... are both coins!

Some complain that when one's change purse gets full ... folks re inclined to walk with a bit of a list.

And some are agitating for making the $5.00 bill a coin!

And pennies are ... gone: useless, it seems!

Isn't it interesting ...

... that those bills ...

... are issued by a consortium of banks?
