My electrician is suggesting "LumenTask" undercabinet lights. Does anyone know if they are any good?
We used Xenon lighting under our cabinets (also recommended to us) and have been extremely pleased. It is much cooler than the halogen lighting so your overhead cabinets don't get the heat build up but it is also a warm light, unlike florescent, which we had in one house. I think you will be very happy with it.
I am questioning the LumenTask" brand...ever heard of it?
It seems like everyone uses Kichler or Seagull but my electrician doesn't get those brands.
Some people over on kitchens have used the Task Luches and seem to be very hppy with them, as have people who have used Kichlers and Seagulls. Our electircian uses Kichlers, so we'll go with that unless we change to another type of lighing before install.
That is what we have and we like them. The best place I've found to get them is here
Xenon Under Cabinet Lighting
I heard that the Xenon was almost as hot (temperature) as the Halogen. A friend of mine had a Haolgen melt her coffee maker. Does anyone have information on this?
