8 or 9 inch linear fluorescent under cabinet lighting

boone_2009October 15, 2013

I cannot find this particular length in a light fixture - please help. The bulb has to be 3000 K ( warm white) T4 or 5, to match my other GE Premium linear fluorescents under my kitchen cabs. This one cabinet is narrow and GE does not make any fixtures under 13 inches long.
Thanks!

Have you looked for a compact fluorescent (non-unitary) lumnaire that will mount under the cabinet? Quad tube might be bulky, but someone might make twin-tube lamp luminaires. Otherwise, you might be stuck with some configuration of warm-color light emitting decoration.

8-watt tube T5 luminaires are available that are just under 12". but the variety might not include anything pretty and I don't know about lamp quality.
