Davidtay - what do you think?

I have been looking for LED under cabinet lights that come in sizes to fit my cabinets so as to avoid gaps. I also want something bright enough for task lighting, since my recessed lights cannot be placed at the edge of the counter. Other concerns are color (CRI), dimmable, and $$$.

I stumbled on this yesterday and got a great quote - about $800 for 175" of lights + dimmable power source. CRI is 85/90, 300 lumens. Made here in the USA. My quote was for the 123 series, which is supposed to be the successor to the Rigel. What do you think?

Here is a link that might be useful: LED Cabinet Lights

Looks interesting. There is a discrepancy in the lumens per watt output that you might want to get clarified.

It cannot just be 300 lumens for 175".

Also ask whether the strips are polarity neutral. If they are not, you need to pay close attention to the wiring so that you don't inadvertently blow out a strip.

The lumens are 300 per ft, not for the entire area. Hoping that will be bright enough since my recessed lights cannot be set at the edge of the counter - my house has some pretty hefty support beams running there. I will ask about the polarity. Thanks.

You should also ask about dimming.
