What should light placement be - pot lights. X post

marti8aAugust 7, 2012

I posted this on the Kitchens forum too. here

Here is my floor plan with red circles on one side where I thought the lights might work.

But, I'll have a light over the sink, so the overhead pot light might be too much? Should I just space them 4 feet apart and forget about it?

Someone on Kitchens suggested putting them on dimmers, and I like that idea. But the kitchen lights are on a 3 way switch. A dimmer won't work on that will it?

Any suggestions welcomed.

The following will be helpful.

Yes, dimmers do work with 3 way circuits.

Thanks, that is really helpful. I'll have to go see what kind of lights we have now.
