Island Lighting - why all halogen?

numbersjunkieAugust 12, 2010

Most of the lights I like take halogen bulbs, which I hear can put off a lot of heat. Can these blubs be replaced with xenon bulbs to burn cooler?

If you're talking about pendant lights, then yes, there are xenon bulbs available. Realistically though, the pendants only take up to 50 watts. So any heat put out will not affect the room at all.
