Brown nest on bulb

pinkpigsJuly 18, 2013

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me what is this brown stuff forming on my outdoor flood lights? Seems like a nest for some sort of bug. What bug and how can i get rid of it. It comes back after awhile.

Looks like mud. Could be wasps. Get an exterminator to inspect inside the soffits.

Mud daubers. Look them up. They prey on spiders so if you are arachnophobic, they are your friends.
