Recessed Light - Need Help! - For new home

ras9999July 15, 2010

Build a new home. See picture of my kitchen:

http://lh6.ggpht.com/_dp71ms-dQLE/TD0pHv_KluI/AAAAAAAAABQ/PTeMJWlF02A/s512/kitchen.jpg

Entire house has recessed lights in all bedrooms, family/great rooms, living/dining, hallways...

Trying to decide where I should use 5" and where I should use 4" recessed lights.

And type of recessed lights to use? Now is the time as builder has not put any yet.

If you're not subject to energy efficiency laws, the choices are more.

If you are subject to Title 24, 6" led lighting from Cree - CR6 or LR6 is probably better than cfl cans.
