Lighting - Under Cabinet - Forgot to say...

One more thing - there is more than enough light in this kitchen; this lighting is only for the purpose of showing off the backsplash. It won't be turned on for long periods of time.

You can use soft white lights. Undercabinet LEDs do come with soft white. For example - look at the example from www.environmentallights.com.

Over time, you may increasingly find under cabinet lighting to be better task lighting. I know I have.
