Chandelier lifts

lattegirl1May 11, 2010

Can I use a chandelier lift for a kitchen chandelier? It will be over the island and there is a second floor above the kitchen. The electrician says that he does not know of a lift small enough to fit in the space between the two floors. I have 12 inches of space between the two floors.

Does the lift need to be directly above the chandelier? Can it be elsewhere and 'wired' to work for the kitchen chandelier?

The answer to both your questions is yes.
The Aladdin light is only 9" high, and you can use their pulley system to offset the lift.
Their technical people are great.
