Creepy dimmable led lights

misha16May 9, 2012

I'm redoing my kitchen and looking for light choices.I'm leaning toward LED lights but after visit to one showroom(not big boxed store)and talking to sales person who showed me when LED light are dimmed it gives greyish creepy looks. Is this the case for all LED lights or thos particular in the showroom.

LED lights shouldn't change color as you dim. They are available in different color temperaturs, so it could be that the color temperature you were looking at just don't look good to you as they dim. Ask them if they have a 2700k on display (assuming the one you saw was different).
