Chandelier

We have a 2 story foyer and are looking to buy a large crystal chandelier for it. I would like to know if it is worth it to spend on swarovski or the regular cut crystal would do. Also any other pointers on buying chandeliers would be helpful.

Make sure you get a lift installed.
Either manual or electric.

Nothing sparkles like real crystal, and Swarovski is top of the line crystal.

Regular crystal will provide plenty of sparkle and diffraction. I doubt that anyone other than the owners will know there are Swarovski crystals in the chandelier unless you brag a bit. Maximize sparkle by keeping the glass clean and use clear glass bulbs.
