Light bulbs for my new chandelier

violetwestJanuary 9, 2014

So, I bought a new chandelier. It says it takes 60 Watt Type B bulbs. So . .. . am I not going to be able to get bulbs for this in the future? Is there a substitute for the incandescent bulbs?

Maybe I need to return the chandelier (which I'd hate to do, because I love it.)

(confused)

There are led and cfl replacement bulbs available today from many places.

That link is not working for me. Try searching on eBay. I have found some satisfactory LED lamps there-- but some were not very good. Perhaps buy one and try it before buying the full needed quantity.
An 11 or 12 watt LED will approximate a 60 watt incandescent.
