Anybody ever change the drum belt? Have any tips?

Thanks

Get the service manual (it's floating around the web). You'll likely have to take off the sides too (not a big deal). On the T9800 there were several revisions including: a different thickness felt gasket (thought to have created too much drum drag and maybe the reason your belt failed so soon); a different fan impeller design for reduced noise and increased airflow; a different lint filter screen to allow more airflow.

Fahrenheit, any idea where that service man could be found? Everything I'm finding leads me to "user" manual...i have the sides off ...I did find a small screw that looks like it stabilizes the motor is missing...so I'm guessing that put a lot of strain on the belt allowing the belt to move around too much...I'm guessing I just need to remove the screws that hold drum in and try and slip belt in...darn high end machines...haha
