Pressure Iron or Steam Generator or Laura Star

Are these all the same type of thing? Are they really worth the money? Seems like regular irons never get the wrinkles really out and take a long time, so if these mega irons are true to their hype, I'll cough up the extra $$. I would like to hear some up-to-date opinions tho, especially since I keep reading how various appliances used to be better, but are now made in China and the quality has suffered.

The ROI on these is questionable unless you do a lot of ironing. I do see them from time-to-time being sold-off inexpensively on eBay. They will require more setup than the usual handheld iron.

We have a Canadian brand: RELIABLE Steam Iron J490A
You get plenty of steam and the build quality is excellent. It's a bit pricey, but well worth it. We purchased directly from the company with no problem.
