Here are some bathroom pictures that I've collected. I hope you enjoy them. Please post your own pics, both inspiration and/or of your own baths. If you deserve the credit for any of these baths, please step up and take it.

Now here's something you don't see every day. How would you feel washing your hands here? hehe

Oceanna, those are fabulous. I only found inspiration in a few. Some are really far out. The one that creeped me out was the one with the open slate wall. Eeeww, bugs and stuff crawling in. I don't think so. HA! HA! My favorite was the huge one with tall coved ceiling that had the white drape across the entire width of the tub. Fabulous!!

Do you by any chance remember where you acquired the one with all the fish on the walls? I would love to send that to my friend Boots who lives, breaths and sleeps with fish!!

Thanks for taking the time to post them, they are great. I can't wait till mine are part of the gallery.

Oh, the one thing I did realize and my DH will not be happy to hear this, is, I want to paper the top half of my master bath. Hurry, get the guest room ready, I'll be needing it when I tell him. LOL That may fly and it may not, we'll see!!

Brutuses, I'm sorry, I got that fish one a long time ago and I have no idea where. But you can still send it to your friend.

You are doing so much great research for your new home that I just know it's going to be fabulous! So why do you have to tell DH? Just paper it yourself and then tell him you did. It's not hard to do at all. And just for the top half of a bathroom it shouldn't be expensive either. Your bathroom isn't HUGE, is it? You're welcome in my guest bedroom, but right now it's the catch all for the whole house and I can't even find the bed so I'll put your grand de-clutter and organizational skills to work if you come! lol

Yes, the bathroom is huge, for a bathroom. Well, at least to me. It has double vanities on one wall a whirlpool in one corner, a walk-in shower that takes up another wall and the toilet between the vanities and whirlpool. It's L-shaped so it's difficult to give a size. I have a friend who is in architect school who is going to put my floor plan into an easy computer program for me so I can access it, post it, send it around, etc. Then I can show people the floor plan, finally.

I think I'll pass on the papering. It's 10' ceilings and would cost a pretty penny to do. We have so many other things we need and can do without the paper. I'm just dreaming out loud. I've already spent a small fortune just on the light fixtures for the master bath, much more than I should have, but they were the first ones I saw and I fell in love with them and so I bought them. HA! I've posted a link to the fixtures. It's the chandelier pictured that will go in the center of the room and then there will be 2 of the single sconces on each wall flanking the vanities and one double between the mirrors. I also couldn't resist the double sconce with the two black shades. I bought that one to put in between the two front windows of the office. If you go down the page you'll see the entire Roxbury collection.

I have some really pretty sconces for the guest bath, but unfortunately can't post a photo because they were discontinued shortly after I bought them so I can't find any pictured. I may have an e-mail to myself. I'll have to check.

The master is going to be a mix of modern (the light fixtures) with the old (the marble and black vanities), the wainscoting on some of the wall and sub way on shower enclosure. Still undecided on the floor. May go with the black and white hex and be done with it. Should prove interesting when I get finished with it. LOL

The guest bathoom is old all the way with my antique dresser, antique looking sconces, toile curtains, wainscoting, and hex flooring. Of course if you pull back the shower curtain you'll see a modern tub with surround (just don't look). HA! HA!

With all the thought I'm putting into this house I sure hope I can make it look nice and be comfortable as well as welcoming to visitors.

I like all the ones you posted too. The two that hit me right off are the one with the yellow and green stripes -- very eyecatching, and the one with the seashell pics that looks so clean and crisp. Thanks!

Oceanna, you have just saved me a small fortune in design magazines. Your posts are mind boggling. My home is going to be so much more attractive because of your work! I could never come up with ideas like these in a million years - but I can sure copy them.

Love My -- yeah, that's the second one I posted. I really like it too, but my baths are nowhere near that size. It would be fun to take ideas from it though.

Leahcate -- oh I'm so glad you're enjoying them! You're very welcome.

Janwad -- My pleasure! At least with this "stack of magazines" we don't need storage space in our homes. :-) I've got so many favorite pictures here it's hard to choose. I like that I can look at the pics when I'm wondering about draperies, how to decorate a coffee table, colors, the best size for nightstands, or to answer dozens of other questions. That's why so many of us have saved magazines -- you can always see something new in the pictures by looking with new questions in mind.

What a great collection of bathrooms--thank you so much for posting. I'm actually pursuing the cabinet and countertop shown in picture 105 for my small guest bath. Any chance you or anyone else actually knows who's bathroom that is? Would love to ask a few questions.

In the event that it's not identifiable, I wonder if anyone can comment on what's plaguing me. I love the angled cabinet and I also love the way the countertop extends beyond the cabinet. I only have 27" to work with and I'm wondering if, proportionally, the cabinet can be 24" at the top, sloping inward diagonally to 16" or 18" (how narrow can a base be?). That would only leave 1.5" on either side for the countertop extension. I really want to make this work but am not sure that my small space allows it. Any comments? I find this trying-to-visualize-what-will-work process very challenging. Many thanks.

Heehee, I'm planning on using the same frieze paper as in the ninth picture on post #2. It's the Marsh Creek Kingfisher Frieze from Carter & Co. Expensive but luckily I don't have a huge bathroom to deal with, I'll only need about four yards.

I don't think I saw these pics, two I've lusted for for years:

Swiped this one off the Baths forum years ago for the floor pattern, which I'm thinking about putting in the half bath and laundry room using lino tile (and a less contrasty color scheme):

These two pictures, scanned from Jane Powell's "Bungalow Bathrooms", were the inspiration for the master bath in my previous house (man, I miss that bathroom), followed by the result:

Jerseegirl, I've got my SW fandeck here, so here's my wild stab. Below the rail, SW6186 Dried Thyme. Above the rail, SW6120 Believable Buff. Just a guess, but you know monitors.

Collage, you're welcome! No clue whose bath that is, sorry. I think you should ask your questions over on the Discussions part of the board, where more folks will see them. You could also try in the bathrooms forum too, and give a link to here or just copy that pic in your posts. To copy the pic, right click, Properties, and sweep copy the url. Put after the url. It should copy for you.

Johnmarie, yikes! At $31 per yard it's a good thing you only need 4 yards. I'll bet it's going to be divine and I can't wait to see your picture of it. Yummm! Good for you for following your dreams and stepping into the extraordinary.

Thanks so much for posting those pics. Those are super baths. I'm with you on that floor pattern. I hope that figuring the angle cutting on the edge pieces doesn't drive you bonkers. I guess you can cut a template and mark all the tiles with pencil... that's what I'd do since I use a wet saw, and I do mean wet.

Oh wow I love your master bath in your last house! Wow! I can see why you miss it. Are you going to recreate it? That sink is so cute with its sexy little legs. Where did you get that wallpaper? It isn't by any chance B&B is it? What did you do for storage in there? I wonder that every time I see sinks like you posted.

Thanks for posting your collection! As someone who is re-doing a powder room at the moment I really appreciate it.

In collection #4 about half-way down, there is a toilet enclosed in drapes as though it's an actual throne! PU! Maybe that person should take a step back from decorating and get out of the house more.

This is the master bath in the home we just had built. I still want to add a few accessories, but I love the colors. The house is kind of "Texasy" with soft desert browns, sage green, and a few muted orange and reds for accents. A majority of the furniture is rustic and I have some Texas stars scattered around. I thought about putting a big picture of an old time cowboy in an old fashioned tub on the windowless wall over the bath tub, but I don't want to get too kitschy. Opinions?
