Stacking washer/dryer?

cmamcon5May 14, 2013

I have a washer/dryer set I'm thinking of stacking. Is there any disadvantage that I should know of? We could really use the extra space. Also should we stack in front of the dryer vent or the washer hook ups?
Thanks:)

Stack in front of the dryer hook up so you have access to the water on/off valves.
(Which you should get into the habit of turning off after use to prevent a house flood when you're not home).
