centralhumidifer

Need help with good choice of humidifier on a gas furnace in a tight insulated house. We are replacing the whole system. Have been recommended a Carrier, HUMCCLBP2417. It is a bypass, 27gpd humidifier. Hve read about drum, blow through and hot steam. Am very confused. Will this type be most likely to harbor mold, get sediment, or cause rust?
Furnace is a Carrier 80,000btu, 96% afue, variable-2stage Infinity. Also recommended is a TP-PRH-A digital, programmable perfect humidity thermaostat. The air is a 3 ton 16 seer, 2 stage Carrier.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
