Mini split boneyard - Designed to fail?

That was interesting! I did read in my installation manual about not installing the Fujitsu ductless minisplit near salt water and now I know why. The did say it was fine in a dry environment and thankfully that describes ours.

Don't know what coastal residents are supposed to do. Right here it gets plenty wet not to mention the bug poop he found. Dude doesn't think much of inverter units that's for sure.
