I have a kenmore HE3T FL that is just over 2 years old. So far, the rubber bellow has been replaced twice! It was "wrinkled" looking when we purchased it, and after the warranty was out, it shredded, along with my son's football pants. About four months later, the new bellow began leaking. Sears was supposed to get back to me, but never did.
We are careful not to overload the machine, and for the last few months, we have been happy. We use the Sears detergent, and the clothes seem to be clean. Today, I walked in to find that the washer leaked all over the floor again (and down into the storage room in the basement). This time, the little white plastic piece that pokes through the top of the bellow is missing. Also, it looks rusty in the bottom of the bellow where the water drains out. Any ideas?
We are currently less than happy with the quality of my washer. We paid a lot of money for the set. It uses less water, but costs more in repair charges than any appliance we have ever owned.
Is there a way to prevent more repairs? Any ideas on the cause?
