Velcro

Has anyone had any luck with fabric fusion velcro holding well? I am making baby bibs, I sewed some on, but would love to skip that step.

Here is a link that might be useful: Fabric Fusion Velcro

I hate velcro because of the snagging of other things in the washing machine and dryer. Why not use a tie? If you are knitting or crocheting, use a chain stitch. If you are sewing, just sew the trim into ties or use ribbon or folded over bias? hem? tape.

I agree with Sheilajoyce. Velcro snags on yarn terribly. I have velcro on the inside of my knitting bag, and I finally had to pack it with yarn so it would not snag my work every time I put it in or out of the bag.

Hmmmm.....my cousin, who has one-year old twins, thought velcro would be easiest to secure fast and would be adjustable (as would tieing).

I will have to give it some thought, thanks for the feedback! :-)
