trane hp for 2nd floor add on

dutch123May 6, 2012

Wanted to get a sanity check on a quote I received for adding a 2.5 ton HP to the upstairs of our two story. The quote was 9548 for the xl15i unit with a tam7aoc36 airhandler 10kw strip, 402 thermostat and a 16x25x4 filter.

2400 of that was for adding flex ductwork in attic. Does this seem reasonable?

That quote is high both for system and ductwork.

Good equipment though.

What is location?
