70's potholder pattern

juantiaMay 4, 2008

I would like to make the potholders my grand-mother made in the early 70's. They were made of cotton thread, first a grid, then fill in the grid. Does this ring a bell for any long time crochet artist? I would really like to give one to my mom for mothers day. Thanks
