I am new to knitting and in stuck on selvedge sts . I'm knitting a lacy pattern and have to allow 2 extra sts for this. I would be very greatful to anyone who can help. thankyou
You don't make selvage stitches any differently than regular ones. Some people, however, slip the first stitch of every row for a neater edge, but that's all I know about it. To slip a stitch, you put your needle into it as if to purl and just transfer the stitch to the right hand needle.
thankyou i'll give it a try
