Ah! my hat twisted!

orchidobsessedJanuary 6, 2009

I'm knitting a hat on circular needles and even though i was careful when i joined the circle, there is one twist. Is there anything i can do to fix this, other than start over?

Afraid not--how frustrating for you. If it's any consolation, I once knitted the whole ribbed band for the bottom of a sweater before I realized that I'd put a twist in it.

well thanks. i guess i'd better start over. when this happened before i just put the twist between the 2 needles and knitted over it, but i'm too far along to do that now.

Wish I'd had better news for you. I honestly think that the first Mobius scarf was probably a sweater that got a twist and the knitter just COULDN'T bring herself to unraveling all that work!
