Transition from wood to tile

workhurtsDecember 20, 2012

Add a perpendicular piece to the layout of the wood (under the door) or just terminate the wood? I'm not using a transition piece of any kind and will have the tile at the same height as the wood. What to do?

A perpendicular piece is standard if the tile and wood are same height.

Some will leave a gap and grout it. Ive seen it everyway.
