Oak waterlox floors are down (some Q's)
Just put the 3rd coat of Waterlox on my kitchen floor. 2 regular, one satin. It looks great overall, but there are a few nits.
1) The floor has some rough spots. Almost like finish bubbles or dust in the finish. Subtle, but in some areas I feel I should do something about it.
2) A couple of drops: areas I had applied finish smooth but then a cast off drop hit and is obviously a bit higher. Can I lightly sand or steel wool those out?
What is the best way to deal with finish boogers, stray hairs and drops in Waterlox? I would think I could sand them with 400 grit or even pick them out with a fingernail.
If I lightly recoat the sanded area with a brush will that stand out or is that the preferred fix?
All advice appreciated!
