Forced Air Furnace Is Loud

GLM1960February 13, 2011

I have a 2 year old gas forced air furnace in the house I just bought which is in the cellar. I can hear it when I am on the main floor. Is this normal?

Are you hearing the noise of air flowing through (potentially undersized) ductwork or noise the unit itself is making?
