A Card for Annie

paulinesMarch 16, 2007

Many of you know Annie from the Cooking & Canning Forums, she is a really special person and her doxie,

"WonderWeiner" is a very special pup. The wonderweiner's been ill and today's the day when he will pay his last visit to the vet.

Annie will need all the energy & strength she can muster at this difficult time. Maybe our words or virtual hugs can ease an iota of the pain she is going through?

Oh, Pauline, you have a big heart. I don't frequent the Cooking Forum, and don't know if I should just post out of the blue, but my heart goes out to her. I can just "feel" it - since I have a beloved older cat who keeps me company in the evening. Will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

My beloved Lucy will be coming to play with "Wonder Weiner" soon.

Cyber hug to Annie. This is truly the hardest part of having a pet. The ultimate act of love is to do the right thing when the time comes. So hard and so painful...

Thanks so much Julie & Celtic. I was hoping to link this thread to a thread in cooking - the more hugs, the better.

It's never easy to lose a constant companion and best friend. My prayers are with her.
