Co Pay???

I'm sitting in the doctors office and everyone except me had to pay a copay.Is it cheaper to have and insurance that pays co-pay?Please explain it to me.

A co-pay is your portion of the bill for a regular checkup or procedure. Every insurance has a different co-pay, from $0 to hundreds of dollars. You might be paying more for your insurance than many people which is why you don't have a co-pay, but it depends solely on what insurance you have.
