Friend Dying Soon

suzikqOctober 23, 2007

THis may seem bizarre - but does anyone have advice on how my friend can make some memories for her kids? Beyond filming herself and letters. Her cancer is in her brain now and she's already a bit confused. She's lived longer than anyone thought but it can't be much longer now. Oldest son is 17 youngest daughter is only 8. Any ideas would be so helpful.

Others may have better ideas, but the thing that comes to my mind is to work with the childrenÂnow or starting soon after their mother diesÂto record the memories they already have. You can help them preserve these memories; otherwise, some are likely to slip away.

Good luck with this.

Susan - thanks. I was only thinking about what she could do but this makes a lot of sense.
