Something Inspirational

lulie___wayneOctober 10, 2004

You can shed tears that she is gone,

or you can smile because she has lived.

You can close your eyes and pray that she'll com back

or you can open your eyes and see what she's left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,

or you can be full of the love you shared.

You can turn your back on tomorrrow and live yesterday,

or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she's gone,

or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,

or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

I know it's hard to lose a loved one, but they would want us to go on living and I feel we do a dis-service to their memory if we choose to die emotionally and spiritually when they die.

Thank you Lu, I needed that. You see My daughter passed
away today. She was 43 and my oldest daughter. I will miss
her so much as I know you miss your daughter. But she is
at peace now.

Oh, Gloria, I'm so sorry about your daughter. We all miss our children so very much. My hope for you is that you will find comfort as she has found peace.

Gloria, I'm so sorry! Keep coming here if you need us.
I feel sure that you will have some hard days ahead, but like you said, they are at peace now.

Gloria, I am so sorry....why dont you post your own story about your daughter and share with everyone here? If you are not up to talking about her now, perhaps later. You are with friends here.
