Problem when walking

cheerful1_gwJune 6, 2005

I noticed recently when I walk, my left pinky toe keeps rubbing against the toe next to it. I also noticed that my left ankle seems to be turning inward when I walk. I don't have a problem with my right foot. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right. Anyone else come across this problem?

I've have foot problem from time to time and have to see a specialist. Your arch may have dropped or it could be the wearing of tight shoes. See a foot doctor. I hope this helped.

Definitely go see a podiatrist. I used to think they were for people who couldn't cut their toenails! :) They are highly skilled specialists in the care of the bones, tendons, ligaments, and muscles of the ankle and feet. I wish I had known that when I broke my foot. I went to an orthopedic surgeon for that, but they don't specialize in the feet as much as they do from the neck down to the knees. My foot would have received much better treatment from the podiatrist.
