HMTL code for clickable links

becca5July 21, 2002

I hope someone drops by here soon. Please tell me the code for making clickable links in text (not on this forum). I know it has been answered earlier but I can't find it. Thanks, becca5

If you want to link to another webpage use this:

First replace ( with this on the below code.

(a href=" Website(/a)

If you are trying to link to a webpage that is in the same folder, on the server, that your index.html page is in use this code:
(a href="thepagefilename.html)The Page(/a)

Some servers let you just use the file name and others you must use the full URL address with the http:// added to the link.
