Lost my eldest daughter, age 31, grieving, trying to fight depression, she suffered for 2 years prior, love to speak with anyone. New member
My heart goes out to you. Losing a child has to be so difficult, esp when you see them suffer for so long.
I hope you can find someone locally to talk with, perhaps a support group.
I know that sometimes it is hard to grieve openly amongst other family members. I have been told that each has to grieve on his/her own but then the family unit has to grieve together. Do you feel that your family is able yet to do that?
My heart goes out to you, in suffering & surviving the loss of your daughter. You have my deepest condolences. I lost my son in 1986, and my 18 year old daughter in 2005. I have no surviving children. I am here if you'd like to write. Tell me more about you and your family. I feel sorry for anyone having to endure this.

I lost my son 5 years ago by suicide. He was 23 years old. Depression, some drugs.
Loss of child is the worse that can hapen, I feel your pain.
I know 8 families now that went through this same ordeal.
My heart goes out to you, be strong. Helena
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. I lost my son on Sep 4, 2008 to a heroin overdose. He was 41 years old. I can't tell you the pain I feel. He was such a nice guy, had so many friends, but he had the disease of addiction. He was a talented musician, woodworker, and gardener. I had no idea he was using drugs. His death has been such a shock to the family, I don't think we'll ever recover.
