Peptide Injections for Asthma?

piasanoFebruary 15, 2009

I am considering peptide injections for asthma. For those unfamiliar with this treatment, the theory behind it is that if our stomachs are not digesting our food efficiently, deficiencies develop. Over time, those deficiencies create disease ~ for me, asthma and GERD. For someone else, the deficiency may appear as arthritis or lupus or one of the other auto-immune disorders.

The injections are not covered by insurance. My own doctor is adamantly against my having the injections...but I am considering having them anyway.

Does anyone know anything about peptide injections?

Thanks so much.
