Does anyone have experience with pottery barn upholstered furniture? Positive? Negative?
Laurlee, No experience with Pottery Barn upholstered furniture however with all upholstery you should see it personally. It is important to sit on the upholstery to see if it fits you & if it is comfortable. Do you like the feel of the cushion? Is the furniture deep enough or too deep. A taller person needs deeper upholstery whereas a shorter person in the same depth of upholstery will feel as it their legs are straight out & their feet will not reach the floor. Whereas a downseat maybe really comfortable an older person may find it hard to get up from the upholstery because down seating sinks; the older person may benefit from a more conventional cushion or a springdown blend cushion. Problem with Pottery Barn catalogue sales is that you can not see or feel the product. Unless you are just wanting the piece for an accent piece.
