Refectory or farmhouse dining table and chairs

rosemarynjOctober 7, 2009

I am looking for a refectory or farmhouse table and chairs in distressed wood so that I can actually use it with just placemats in a dining room. We want medium brown color. I saw one made by MacKenzie Dow but way out of my price range ($3000 just for table and no chairs). Looking for a ladderback chairs -(6 2 arms and 4 sides) with maybe leather seats. Anyone have a suggestion where I can find a manufacturer that makes this not at an outrageous price? I have seen the Pottery Barn one but not sure that is practical. Help!

I know Ethan Allen made a set like that several years back. I don't know if it is still being made.
