Steel entry/service door sizes--HELP!!

backeminOctober 14, 2006

I have an older 2 1/2 car garage with a 7 ft. ceiling height. That means it has a 6ft (72"x32") side service door.

The original door is wood and getting shabby. I would like to replace it with a steel door. I can't find a 72" steel door.

Any Ideas??

THANKS

This can be special ordered at you local MegaHardware store. When I had a door opening in my walk-out basement poured, the shorted me 1/2" on the door rough opening. When I went to Home Depot, I was told that to special order the door 1/2 inch short would cost almost $200 more. I decided to try cutting into the bucking. But a special order steel door is available.
