sealant for newly epoxy'd concrete floor?

cheryl_pOctober 27, 2007

2 weeks ago we applied Behr 1-part epoxy over concrete floors which had never had use and had been poured 10 months earlier (a new build). It seems to have adhered, but the problem is that we can't clean it! Muddy feet and tires today are leaving stains that must be scrub brush cleaned and then there is a faint shadow. Is there a sealant that anyone could recommend that would help with cleaning here - a polyurethane perhaps? We did add the grit advised for adding traction, could this cause excessive staining?

Cheryl. go to a Sherwin Williams paint store and ask for their industrial grade sealer. Its spendy ($200/gal) but it will make clean up so much easier. Maybe they will recommend something cheaper but a good sealer is a MUST.
