Chamberlain Remotes

cneemoOctober 12, 2008

Hi Everyone,

I just replaced an old Chamberlain garage door opener with a new Chamberlain Model HD200D, 1/2 HP. The remotes that I had with the old one will not work with this new opener, all three of which just worked a few days ago with the old opener. The openers are model 953CBH. I have tried pushing the learn button then pushing the opener button and nothing happens. Do I need to get the 953D model remotes or will these work?

Thanks in advance!!

The manufacturers have changed the radio frequency and the new remotes will not work with older openers.
