Craftsman door opener remote won't work but door will

mikej333October 28, 2007

My Craftsman door opener was working fine until last week. One of the remotes suddenly stopped working. I assumed it was the battery and have been using the other one since. Yesterday, the other one stopped working. The batteries in both remotes work fine. I took them to Sears and the remotes both worked fine on the dislplay model in the store. I have erased all of the codes and reprogrammed as per the instruction manual. The opener works fine if you hit the door button -- just not the remotes. I have checked the sensor beams and have a solid green light. I have also unplugged the unit and still have not luck.

Any suggestions?

If your remotes worked fine on the display model you have a bad logic board.
