What can you tell me about my yard sale find?

I was intrigued by this chair and bought it.

Would you call it a club chair? How old do you think it is?

It is made by Myrtle Desk which I know has gone out of business. I'm just curious to find out more about it. I kind of like my $10 purchase! Thanks!!

Its a mid-century chair, probably produced for a commercial setting. It was most likely used as a "pull up" chair to a desk in an office/bank etc. The kind of chair you would sit in on the "other side" (visitor's side) of the desk. From the logo typeface I would say late sixties early seventies.

I think you did great. I like your $10 chair too. Where are you putting it?
