armstrong alterna installed wrong?

moggalaMay 25, 2011

or am i just being too picky?

we recently replaced our small bathroom floor. a local installer put it in for us and as soon as i saw it i that right? the corners don't meet up perfectly in several spots (very central spots unfortunately) and there are places where the tiles sit slightly further apart from each other rather than completely flush (we chose to go without grout lines).

it is an old house and all the floors are somewhat slope-y. are the imperfections inevitable with any installation? a result of the old sloped floors? a problem with the installer? if you were buying would you notice/care? and most importantly, when my two little, exuberant kids take baths and splash will the water get between the tiles and cause damage???

Thanks in advance for advice/opinions!
