Samoan Mahogany

vishgMay 9, 2013

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with Samoan Mahogany hardwood. I am having trouble finding any literature about it. I found it at a local retailer. It is described as Style: Tigertan SAMT120; Color: Toffee. It is 2200 on the hardness scale so that isn't an issue. Searched all over to see how it compares in terms of quality to Santos Mahogany but couldn't find anything...
Any info/opinion would be highly appreciated,

Thanks.

Samoa does not have a lumber industry, so that's probably just a marketing name.

Ask the dealer for the SPECIES of the wood.
