water pooling in back of garage

there was a new driveway/garage floor put in right before we bought our house. well, unfortunately, they pitched the driveway so that when it rains, water pools in the back of our detached garage. we're trying to figure out the best way to fix this. 1) get a drain put in across the width of the driveway before the garage, so that water drains in there and doesn't make it to the garage or 2) have a few slabs of the driveway knocked out and get new concrete poured with a better pitch so that water drains onto the grass. we've already attempted to seal the front of the garage and that helped, but did not fix the problem.

have any of you dealt with this? how did you fix it?

Is the garage floor sloped toward the back? It should slope toward the door or a drain.
I'd go with option #1, and make sure the apron immediately outside the door also slopes toward the drain.
