Vintage Garage Doors

camontourJune 27, 2006

Hello! I am replacing two 8 x 7 vintage wood tilt up garage doors from my 1932 garage. Before I have them hauled away to the dump, does anyone have any ideas for a recycle project? Or, could they be worth any money? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Don't know where you live but here in So. California they are hauled to Mexico where each one becomes a wall for someones Casa. I think you will do yourself a favor by having the installers of your new doors haul them away.

Don is right--and pretty funny. Your installers can haul them away. I don't picture them on Ebay unless you have a photo of a silent movie star in front of them.
