Not sure what this has to do with household finances, but I'm pretty sure that being famous doesn't make you any better with money than the average person.
It's a follow up to the thread on this forum about Patricia Cornwell who also lost millions by giving over the management of her money to a "manager".
And yes, it's just a cautionary tale for all the people who think they need 'advisors'.
